Résumé
Nome, une petite ville d'Alaska, en 1929. Balto, un chien de traîneau bâtard, souffre d'être rejeté par tous les habitants. Dans la ville bloquée par la neige, la diphtérie menace de faire des ravages et les réserves de sérum sont épuisées. Balto sait qu'il tient enfin la chance de prouver sa valeur...
