Résumé
Running through the heart of Ireland, the Shannon is the longest river in the British Isles. For locally born naturalist and cameraman, Colin Stafford - Johnson, it's also the wildest. Amongst the rivers cast are kingfishers and predatory pike, and living on its banks are native red squirrels. On a seasonal journey in his faithful canoe, Colin paddles along the Shannon to reveal its wild treasures.
