Résumé
Based on the novels by Anne Cleeves, Shetland is a crime-drama series starring Douglas Henshall as Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez, the lead investigator on the Shetland Islands off the coast of Scotland. Alongside his team of experts, DI Perez attempts to solve the crimes causing concern amongst the tight-knit communities of Shetland. The BBC drama series was adapted for the screen by writer David Kane and, alongside Henshall, features performances from Alison O'Donnell, Steven Robertson, Lewis Howden and Stewart Porter. The show has also been attributed as a major boost in tourism on the islands.
