Résumé
En 1986, à la piscine, Kate refuse catégoriquement de mettre la tête sous l'eau. Elle ne comprend pas les efforts de son père pour qu'elle prenne ses distances. En 1999, les trois frères et soeur se retrouvent accidentellement enfermés dans la piscine abandonnée. C'est l'occasion pour Kate d'avouer à Randall et Kevin qu'elle ne se voit aucun avenir. Kate passe un week-end avec Toby à San Francisco et découvre qu'elle ne l'apprécie plus autant qu'auparavant...
